HEARTS Withdrawal Policy
Registrations are accepted anytime up to the first class with a $25 late fee being applied after June 30th. Withdrawals made on or before June 30th will have all fees & tuition payments refunded.
By early July, the Registrar will notify teachers as to the enrollment in their classes. HEARTS requires that all classes have a minimum of 5 students, but teachers may set their own minimum higher than that. By mid-July, the teachers will make decisions about whether to hold classes with low enrollment (those that have not met their minimum number of students). This gives parents time to find another option for their student if a class is canceled due to low enrollment. By committing to teach a class at that point, teachers are guaranteeing that they will teach the class even if it doesn't meet their enrollment minimum. As such, withdrawals from classes after June 30th but before the final drop date will forfeit all fees & 1st quarter tuition.
