During the ceremony, the graduates are given an opportunity to speak and we also present a slideshow of pictures of the graduates throughout their lives.  Many of our graduates receive scholarships or other high honors and we like to acknowledge these during our ceremony.  Since you are your child's primary educator, it is the parents that present the diplomas at all of our graduations.  This is a very special time for the student to thank their parents and for the parents to show their love and encouragement for their graduate.

A reception follows the graduation ceremony.  A professional photographer takes pictures of the event and a DVD is also made available for purchase after the graduation.

Costs of the graduation are split among the graduating families.  The work is also split among the families, with each family taking on a task for the graduation.  In this way, every graduation is a little different and although we never lose sight of our main goal, sometimes we switch up the ceremony just a bit to accomodate varying tastes among graduating families or to incorporate a new and better way of doing things.

It is important that you participate with the rest of the group as early as possible.  You will be able to select the job you want from a list provided at the first meeting. Jobs are handed out first-come, first-serve so you will want to think about what your strengths are and sign up for a job that will use those God-given talents.  

Register by August 20th in order to get the first newsletter of the year and learn the details of the first meeting.
