HEARTS is a Christian faith-based group formed to meet the homeschooling needs of families in the Reston/Sterling/Ashburn area of VA.  The group is composed of about 80 families, approx. 150 homeschooled students in grades 7-12.

 See Our Age/Grade Recommendations

Classes: Our organization strives to provide support in the areas of academics, fine arts, sports, and social development.  We have classes meeting in Reston and Sterling.  View our Class Schedule for 2009-2010.

French special for 2nd semester!!  Mrs. Suder is offering an Introduction to French course for the second semester at GUMC.  The class will be on Mondays during Session 1 (8:45-10:40 am) in Room 3.  Our directors have offered a reduced HEARTS membership fee of $25.00 for any new members signing up for only this class.  The $25 membership fee gives you access to the class and also to all HEARTS social and ministry functions for the rest of the year.  It also means that, like all HEARTS members, you will be able to register for next year's classes prior to the general public.  Access to Sports programs is not included in the reduced fee.  The insurance fee remains the same, $18.00.  To sign up, please use these registration forms .

Please pass this information on to anyone you know who may be interested.  If you are one of the families that has already signed up for the French class and paid the full amount, please email Linda Menke to work out a refund.

Sports:
Our sports program currently includes basketball, baseball, volleyball and soccer teams, with many victories to their credit.

Graduation: HEARTS has been providing formal graduation ceremonies for the past eight years.  Our ceremonies are designed to glorify the Lord and to send our young men and women out into the world prepared to make an eternal difference.

Newsletters: A monthly e-newsletter is published September through May to keep our members informed of upcoming events.

Projects:   Ongong projects within HEARTS

Registration:  Registration is open to all homeschooling families with students in 7th-12th grades who agree with our Statement of Faith and  Standards of Conduct .     Join Us!
